Hi guys.
Why is my iMac crashing several times a day?! (Shuts down an show grey screen) It's soooooo frustrating!

This is one of the reports (old one - but don't have a clue on how to find the one from todays crash)

Can anyone help?

Telestream... are you using Flip4Mac to view WMV files?

It's unlikely that would be the cause, though. If you still get kernel panics after removing the software, run Apple Diagnostics, and if that passes, run memtest86+. Repeated kernel panics often end up being caused by bad RAM.

If THAT turns up nothing, the last ditch would be to wipe and clean-install OS X on your Mac and see if that helps. And if that doesn't work, you'll have to bring it in to get looked at.
 
Still crashing

Hi guys - thanks for your replays!

I formatter the drive and made a clean install - tried the diagnostics and memtest.

But no luck - just got this report after another crash

I will have to bring it in i guess:(

So o o o o . . . . . . this is a late 2013 iMac?

It's under warranty then. Call Apple . . . . . or if the 32GB is memory you installed, get thee here http://osxdaily.com/2011/05/03/memtest-mac-ram-test/ and run Memtest.

I'd bet a huge sum of someone else's money that you've failed memory.
 
If you added that 32GB RAM and it's third party RAM, try putting just in the original Apple 8GB RAM and see how it works. If you had Apple upgrade the RAM before purchase, just make sure it's seated properly by opening the Memory Door lifting the lever, and reseating each module.
 
Thank you for the links to Memtest/OS X Daily Scared Poet & FreemanW. This is something I've been meaning to do for quite a while. Ran it several times last night including single user mode and got a ton of "Failures". Now to to try to isolate which of the sticks are bad...bleh.

Funny thing is I've rarely had kernel panics but get the odd program crashing. More so lately. Do RAM sticks start off bad, or can they go bad later?
