I have a iMac 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and a Bush TV that also hase a PC option on it i have used a DVI or Mini DVI cable cant remember to a VGA port that then goes into the back of my TV. But i cant get the right resolution for the TV. The TV says it is 1600x1200 but it gives me a 4:3 size screen and is really pixilated. How can i solve the issue please help.
And if there isn't a way do you know of any cheap external monitors that work well with mac & are around 23"

Any help will be truly appreciated.

1600x1200 is 4x3 (4x400 by 3x400)

If it's pixelated, it's probably displaying 640x480 ( also 4x3).
