I have an iMac, Mac Pro, & Mac Air. They basically all have 2GB of Memory.
They are all in the 2GHz area. I don't understand though, why does My Mac Air get very slow, and overheat when playing a game.

Same with my Mac Pro, it overheats and also goes very slow.

iMac has like the same GHZ and memory as my laptops, so how come it doesn't ever get slow when playing the same game, like my laptops do?

Ummm how old is your mac pro? And since you said mac air, not macbook, do you mean macbook pro? And the macbook air all-around is a compromise, it is slow because it is a 1.8 C2D with 2 gb of ram. The ram is the biggest reason, but that is still a slow processor. If you meant macbook pro, then it is slower because an iMac has more cores. If it really is a Mac Pro, then it must be getting up there to be slower than an iMac
