We are a small architectural firm, running ArchiCad software on a PowerMac G5 dual 2.0 (90% 2D work, some 3D), considering replacing with an Imac. looking at either a new 27" or refurb 24" (both 3.06 GHz, 4 GB memory, 1 TB HD). The 24" refurbs have GT 130 graphics, or 2.93 GHz model with T 120.

What about screen quality between the 24" and new 27"? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

You won't notice much of a difference. In my experience (and depending on what you design in CAD) screen size is the deciding factor as wire frames and 2D layouts aren't that intensive.
