ok I will be looking at getting my first Imac but what should I be looking for is there A model in your opinion is better than the next. I would want it for going over my photos since I just got the Canon 5dmkII but which model is worth the buck and which is just over kill ? Let me know what in your opinion is the perfect setup one with massive storage , fast graphics 1 or 2 gig? how much Ram is needed ? Well hope I don't buy something that is just overkill and spend too much ..thanks for any help I usually just play starcraft and check the email , surf and now play with the pictures and aperture software I hear that really slows the machine down ? soo many questions sorry.

Biggest decision is 21 inch or 27 inch. Best is to have a look at both in a store. You might consider taking the measurements and checking that you have enough space. 27 inch is big - which is nice if you want a big monitor and bad if you have little space.

The smallest iMac will do nicely if you have a few thousand photos, a few thousand songs, a few dozen videos. If you ever need more RAM, that is very easy to upgrade yourself. If you ever need more storage, you can just plug in an external 2 TB drive.
