Hey,
Long story short, I recently got an old iMac g3, running 9.0 with 384mb Ram, and 80gb HD, off a friend who never used it. It had a disk stuck in the slot loader but otherwise was in perfect shape.
After I got the disk out (after a full dismantle) I booted the thing up, and it worked fine. But now, every time I try to open any apps, it comes up with messages saying "The application iMovie could not be opened because "QuicktimeLib" could not be found." or "To run this script application, you must first install AppleScript".
To me, it looks like the previous owner wiped everything instead of just personal files. Is there any way of sorting this out, because at some point I'd like to upgrade to 10.4.
Thanks.
