Is it actually possible to put one of these back together after disassembling completely?

If so, please share the secret because I just wasted 2.5 hours trying.

Don't those require a special tool? It looks like a triangle but with 3 dots or something?

Otherwise I don't think you will be getting far with that.

I already took it apart without the special tool, but the internal parts are complex and spring loaded and don't see any logical way to reassemble the damn thing without the use of a specialized robot.

If somebody knows how to reassemble this arm, I will pay you money to do so.

Go to the Genius Bar, and ask for a cast for the iMac G4's broken arm. That should do the trick.
