Hello everyone, hopefully someone can help me out here.
My girlfriend has an iMac G4 17 inch widescreen 800 MHZ with stock 256 MB of RAM. She has had it for a couple years, and it is starting to bog down on her, and she is wondering the best place to get new RAM (apple or crucial???) and also would it be easy for us to install ourselves or do we need to take the computer to a pro somewhere.

Any help would be PRIME!

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, it seemed like the place to post this question.

Well I just bought a refurbished iMac G4 myself and received it today actually. I also bought a RAM upgrade from Crucial that was a 512 MB one for under 90$US and it works flawlessly. It was a snap to install to, just opened the bottom of the iMac and popped it in. Took all of a minute. So I would definitely recommend crucial for ram.
