I am having some issues with my G5 iMac (20" iSight model)

The computer only turns on 1 out of 30 times when I press the power button (ie: like playing the lottery when I press the button if it will turn on or not:mad:)

Maybe I could fix it myself but, I have looked online at some dis-assembly guides, they all go in from the front to replace HDD, Superdriver etc.
None of them go near the back end of the iMac....:(

Have any of you bright minds got a suggestion as to what might be wrong with it, and what I could do to fix it ?

Thanks in advance for any help

The only way to go into that iMac is from the front.
