iMac G5 iSight Power button issues

I am having some issues with my G5 iMac (20" iSight model)

The computer only turns on 1 out of 30 times when I press the power button (ie: like playing the lottery when I press the button if it will turn on or not😡)


Maybe I could fix it myself but, I have looked online at some dis-assembly guides, they all go in from the front to replace HDD, Superdriver etc.
None of them go near the back end of the iMac....🙁

Have any of you bright minds got a suggestion as to what might be wrong with it, and what I could do to fix it ?

The only way to go into that iMac is from the front.

Thanks, well say if I goin from the front, then....the power button, what would I be doing to fix it ?
