iMac gaming

(17'',1 GB ram,160Gb HD and 128mb ati radeon x1600). now when i get it, i plan to use my copy of xp media center edition and split the hard drive in half for both os's. the only reason i want to reformat is because of my favorite game and some other apps. but im wondering if its good to game on a iMac, even with just the 128mb ati grafix card. the game is called Americas army (www.americasarmy.com), and i run it on a 256mb nvidia 6 series card right now: and it does fine.

IS IT GOOD TO GAME ON THIS MAC?!😱 😕

it'll be fine for that game. i used to play it on an ati 9500 pro w/ 128mb ram and it ran fine.


my god, in my personal opinion, that game sucks ass. way too realistic and each round takes 10 minutes.

yeah itll work fine. ive been runnin warcraft and battlefield 1942 seamlessly

Yeah it will run OK, but beware of horizontal Tearing, which i've noticed with my imac, the Response time is 16-ms, as i was informed, not terribly quick

That game should run fine .Even Flow^, although I would reccomend that you get 2GBs of RAM if possible. 🙂

Yea it will definately run those games fine, as well as newer stuff... albeit the newest may have to be ran at reduced settings.
