hi,

my iMac mid 2010 has been 3 times at a service partner since i own him. first the power supply, display and hdd were changed after 2 weeks. 6 month later the logic board and the superdrive were changed also the glass and the body were changed cause of fitting problems with the glass. now i have problems with the airport card, the power supply again (noise) and my graphics card. i was able to play games not maxed out but on mid and low really smooth (SC2, WOW ...)
i am not able to do that anymore. the games stutter after a few minutes.
i have apple Care.
yesterday i sent the mac to a service provider and they are going to check the hardware. what shall i do if they tell me ok the power supply, and the airport card were changed. but we could not find any failure with the GPU?

i calles Apple today and told them that i hate this mac cause of all the trouble i had.

my question: would you accept such mac if apple tells me the machine is ok for them? or should i ask them to change the GPU? or the whole mac? ... this mac always makes troubles ...

what shall i do?

i spent 20000€ since 1999 to this company ... i am sad cause i thought i pay 2000€ for a good mac ... and could have saved 1000 ...

thx for your tips

ps
excuse my english ...

As much trouble as you've had, i'd ask for a replacement. Whole thing sounds jacked up.

ok but what shall i do

if they tell me their hardware test doesn´t find anything. on my mac most of the software (graphics, OSX, GAMES) run far more slower then on the same machines of my colleagues. we all have the same mac all bought it in July 2010 and never changed the hardware or other stuff...
we also tried to test it with complete new osx installations in the same flat with the same software. my machine is compared like an snail !!!

what if for example the pipelines of my gpu are done! can apple see this in their tests ?

thx for help
greets
