iMac heat issues

Does anyone have a recent 2012 or 2013 iMac with the SSD hard drive? If so, do they run hot as well? Can't decide between the 1TB fusion drive or 512GB SSD. I'd only pay the extra $$ for the SSD, if it will help the computer run cooler and potentially extend the life of the computer. Thoughts?

I have a fusion drive in my 12 - no noise at all and the case is cold to the touch at all times.

Same here - late 2012 1Tb Fusion and it's always quiet and cool.
