Ok, maybe I just didn't read the manual completely, or maybe this is common knowledge, I don't know. But I had no idea the lower right side of the iMac has a magnet built in to it to attach the remote control. Now I don't have to worry about losing the remote. It attaches right to the iMac. Another brilliant Apple design element!

Yes, it does.

It was advertised at the release of the Rev. C iMac G5. 🙂

Doh! Well, this is my first iMac in 3 years. Oh well, it's still cool.

I thought the Remote contained the living quarters for a very small, well-trained limpet. But, thinking about it, that's probably the battery compartment.

I use the Remote alot with iTunes and Front Row.
What happens when the Battery eventually dies in it? 😕

The battery is replaceable.

You mean the remote sticks to the side of my iMac because of magnets?
I thought is was magic.
No, no!
It's IS magic!
There is no magnet.
Yes, yes!
Magic! Magic!
