Can you share the link where I would be able to purchase one of these?
Yes, you can buy them directly from the German company LRZT. Just send an e-mail to info@lrzt.de

or on ebay:

Updated with the LRZT 4.2 kit, took a while to hook it up and get recognized, noticed a loose connection and that fixed it. Updating from Sonoma to Sequoia, hope it goes well. I also looked at the China version from HonTec. Much more complicated to hookup than the German version related to BTooth wiring. The German version was more expensive. I'm going to selll the Chinese one on eBay. If anyone wants it here, please let me know.

I may disagree. The installation of china version from HonTech has been easy and the bluetooth connection hasn't been hard to do and is muuuuuch cheaper than german version to buy for a device outdated long time ago. In my opinion.

Is the honTech 4.0 or 4.2 BT?

I opted for 4.2 because of speed. The cheaper version of 4.0 would have saved some money. I also have security concerns with these items and avoid whenever possible, despite the extra cost.

Try modifying the config.plist of OCLP I use Opencore Configurator with-

NVRAM > 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82 section in your config.plist file and add the two child items:-

KeyTypeValue
bluetoothInternalControllerInfoData00000000 00000000 00000000 0000
bluetoothExternalDongleFailedData00

Reboot and Reset NVRAM then boot again normally
My imac2011, 27, a1312, with oc sequoia 15.1, also encountered the same problem when installing bcm943602cdp. The wifi can be used but the bluetooth cannot be used. Can you give me a detailed repair method? Thank you.

Did you supdate to sequoia already?
is the LRZT 4.2 kit working with sequoia?

Does anyone have interest in a drop-in adapter for iMacs that doesn't cost a lot of money and requires no soldering? I could probably make some and sell em shipped to the continental US for $30 each or so, $40 or so including a BCM943602CS (802.11AC and BT4.2), $3 extra for a 21" iMac for the Bluetooth antenna extension cable.

This have a connector for the iMac Bluetooth plug, so BT and WiFi would be powered separately if you wanted to turn one off but not the other, and it would come with the required ipex antenna adapters. I was going to make one for myself, then thought perhaps someone might need/could use one.

Did anyone with upgraded wifi card had any success connecting to the internet after upgrading to Sequoia?
My 2011 iMac 21" with BCM94360CD card can see the list of wifi, connected to my SSID but unable to load the internet.
Bluetooth seems working normally. I could see Safari handoff on my dock when I had my iphone's safari open, but when I clicked the safari icon on my iMac's dock, nothing happen too.

Previously I had no problem with wifi, handsoff, bluetooth with Ventura on my iMac.

Hi, I am definitely interested!

Hey everyone,

To contribute to the community regarding the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issue with an upgraded Wi-Fi/BT module on a 2011 iMac: Ensure the Bluetooth connection is properly seated and powering the module. I struggled for a long time to get Bluetooth working and finally discovered that the module had soldering issues. I fixed it by slightly adjusting the connectors and securing them with a piece of electrical tape. The OCLP (OpenCore Legacy Patcher) recognized it immediately without any issues.

Specs:
iMac 2011 21.5inch
i7-2600S + 32GB Ram + 256SSD + NVIDIA QUADRO K1100M + OSX WIFI iMac2009-2011 Apple Broadcom BCM94360CD with Bluetooth 4.0 Upgrade Kit.

Check this videos for more information on how to modify your iMac.

Thanks everyone that has contributed to making this Macs last this long.

Finally performed the last round of upgrades to the 2011 iMac my daughter now uses about a week ago. This included the OSX WIFI kit and a RAM upgrade.
This kit: (https://osxwifi.com/product/imac-20...94360cd-802-11-a-b-g-n-ac-with-bluetooth-4-0/).

Now it's basically in its final form.
2011 27" iMac. i7 2600, 32gb RAM, 1TB + 500GB SSD, Radeon W7100 8gb GPU, WIFI + BT upgrade. OCLP to run Monterey currently.

With these upgrades it is such a capable machine all things considered. If only I had this config of it back in 2011!
