Hi!

I am trying to figure out what could be done here and what is the problem, I am pretty sure you guys will have some hints here.

I have an iMac that is an Educational model, that means no native bluetooth. I disassembled the mac just to find out the hardware is not there. So I bought the needed cables, the bluetooth card and assembled it back. I am pretty sure that it has to be working by now, but there is some sort of limitations on OS X. I tried reinstalling different versions, but that did not help, it may really be that OS X sees that this mac does not have bluetooth and just does not let it work. I get "no information" under the Systerm Report->Bluetooth. I tried resetting SMC and NVRAM. I tried adding a plist file from another iMac, it just refuses to work.

If it is tied to system ids or something, do you guys have any idea how to sort this out?
