someone told me......

PCIe is an SSD, PCIe refers to the connection standard. Older SSD's used SATA connections, but the PCIe connection is newer and faster.

so is it worth getting? and is their any errors i should be worried about?

It's totally worth it. PCIe SSDs are far faster than regular SATA3 SSDs.

PCIe is the connection standard. SSD is SSD. There are two types of SSDs currently, SATA3 and PCIe.\

And there's also two types of PCIe SSDs. The ones sold in the market are M.2 NGFF PCIe SSDs, while the ones that Apple uses are non-M.2 proprietary PCIe SSD.

It's night and day over a mechanical hard drive. Compared to an SATA SSD, it's not as noticable. Frankly what makes an SSD so amazing is the near instantaneous seek times. Whether the SSD pulls down 200MB/s or 1000MB/s when doing sequential isn't nearly as big of a deal as seek times in the sub ms especially since so much of what we do is still based on a whole lot of small files.

the iMac will be more quieter if I get the SSD i think

These are the trashcan Mac Pro PCIe SSDs.

They may fit into the iMac, MacBook Air or retina MacBook Pro. but I wouldn't bet on it.

My mid 2014 rMPB 15" 512GB came with SSD that is exactly this: MZ-JPU512T/0A6. So looks like they put these into the MacBooks as well.

Does anyone know if these fit also for Mac Pros, iMacs and mba'irs as well? I am interested cause I plan to upgrade SSD and sell this one, but not sure how to market it.

The ones that came in the rMBP will definitely fit.

Market it as an Apple SM0512F PCIe SSD for Haswell Macs.
