I recently set up a desktop imac running Leopard for a friend. It was running great and we had jut finished migrating all his data from his Windows XP to the new Mac. He has thousands of photos. He was running iPhoto importing all his photos while using Safari to browse the web. The computer froze with only the mouse responding, but it could not click on anything. Nothing was responding. After a while of waiting he rebooted the computer only to have a completely scrambled screen of colors and lines come up. He's powered it back down now.

Any ideas on what happened? What should we do next?????
