iMac Lion

So I just bought an iMac 2011, I heard somewhere could get Lion upgrade for free, is that true?

Where did you buy it from? You can't get it for free if you bought it off of craigslist or something like that.

I bought it from an official reseller from Mexico (where i live) it's called Liverpool, pretty much like a Sears.

Not sure if I can get it for free.

I think as long as its an official reseller and you have proof of purchase I'd contact Apple and I believe they should give you a copy of Lion.

I got my iMac in August 2011 and they upgraded to Lion for free right in the Apple store.
