I have a Belkin 7-port USB Hub hooked to my Imac.. I hooked a Type A USB Cable to my USB HUB then to my macbook pro.. It won't pick up anything from my hub.. What's wrong? I have to use the main usb connector from the hub to pick up anything from the hub..

In the future I will be adding a another hub and I dont want to keep disconnecting stuff..

So what can I do if if I want stuff from my laptop to my desktop and vice versa??? also hubs

Sarcasmville.
USB hubs can only be connected to one computer.

You can share storage devices (USB keys, external hard drives etc) and printers over a network.
