    Hey Everyone!

Been doing some reading on the forums, and all suggested memory for an imac linked have been 204-pin Memory.

On the apple site, it gives specs to use 200-pin.

    Reference: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1423#1

    What's the difference?

    I'd say about 4 pins. :D

Usually the older DDR2 RAM was 200 pin and the DDR3 RAM is 204 pin for notebooks and iMacs. I'd chalk it up to being a typo on that page.

You can always check in >about this mac>more info>memory to see what your mac is using at the moment.

I can confirm that it is a typo. All you need to know when ordering is:
    PC3-10600 SO-DIMM DDR3
