Hi guys I have just upgraded my iMac memory to 4gb and increased my broadband speed to upto 20meg and i can say I am well happy:D.I now have instant page to page internet at last ;).

What i was wanting to know is do I need to keep the original x2 1gig memory incase it goes back for repair ?

If not is it worth anything to trade on ?

Anyway just got to say I should have bought a mac years ago as this out classes my pc in every class(and I still have to learn how to use it yet:D )

    Cheers guys

Keep the ram in case you have to send your iMac in for repair.

The 2GB sticks are probably worth 30-40 bucks at most. Its 10-15 per GB. That's why my two 512MB modules arre worth around 10 bucks.
