Merry Xmas everyone!

Was looking forward spending my xmas alone in my studio recording some new tunes but cant get my sound to work on my new iMac, so now I have to spend some time with the family ;)

Would be really helpful if someone could help out.

Got the new (mid 2011) iMac 27inch 3,1Ghz. Apogee duet 2.

Ive always used M-Audio Keyrig 49 on my previous mac with no problems.

I get the audio output to work fine via the Apogee duet but the midi which is USB bound works for up to 10 seconds and then freeze on a note, I have to restart and then it works again.

Ive tried the following:

- on different softwares (Reason and Logic)
- change cables
- use a midi monitor software (it identifies Keyrig)
- changing USB ports
- If I reset all midi devices in Logic the keyrig works again but after 10 seconds of playing freeze on a note

Im going sligtly insane.

Help please

maybe you could isolate the cause a little further. try the key rig without the apogee. I have the key rig on my brand new 21.5 inch i5 iMac and it was plug and play. Also you may want to post this in the digital audio sub forum as you may be able to get more specific assistance there

Thanks! Will do!
