Am due for a new computer at work this summer, and am seriously considering a switch to Mac. One odd question---does the 27-inch iMac swivel at all on its pedestal base? I often need to turn my monitor on my desk a bit so that students can see what's on it when I'm meeting with them. I kind of think that is doesn't swivel, based on what I've seen on the Apple site, but I would appreciate any insight. TIA...

It's very easy to pivot. You're given nearly a foot distance away from the pivot point, which results more than enough torque to make the pivot simple.

Yes, you can turn it with relative ease. You can also purchase a Rain Design i360 to make it even easier.
