Just got a i7 imac last month and everything is fine and dandy with it, but some reason today d/l speeds are extremely dial up like slow in itunes.

Telling me it's going to take 9 hours to d/l my inception digital copy to my itunes library? That's unacceptable in 2010.

A top of the line imac shouldn't have issues d/l a 2 gig movie. So I'm guessing is has to be a problem with my isp.

We did have a major blizzard here in the northeast, so maybe that's affecting it?

It's completely got to be your internet connection. Have you tried resetting your router? You can also try disconnecting and reconnecting your iMac to your network.

I've unplugged and replugged my airport extreme router, a few times now. I turned the aiport off, then back on in the network preferences, and still the same slow download speed.

Don't understand, because web browsing is still fast, so d/ling a movie should be the same.

Have you tried downloading something else? Run SpeedTest (stop downloads when doing that). It's possible that Apple's servers are just under huge load, thus it takes longer to download.
