Hi folks,

I was dabbling about the Twitters and ran into this, which I thought was interesting. If you've wanted to know more about color gamuts and your iMac, it's a good read. It also seems that the at least some of the photos are native to the new iMac's colorspace, so you should get the benefit of extra nice colors.

Cheers.

Very cool article. Is it best to calibrate my P3 display like normal with my Colormunki or is there some settings that need to be adjusted for these displays?

My assumption is that the calibration software has to be aware of the new backlight technology. Is the Colormunki newish? Is the calibration software updated to be aware of GB-r? It is my understanding that GB-r is spectrally different than the CCFL backlight that old extended gamut displays used. So the calibration tool has to be aware of them. If it is aware you just calibrate normally.
