I noticed that the display of my iMac Pro is glowing. Is it normal?

Is back light bleed, whether its normal is up to debate. Its not defective if that's what you're asking.

Is this issue noticeable during normal usage? If no, then ignore it, if yes, call apple

It’s typical for most screens, but how bad the backlight bleed is is variable. Yours looks pretty significant.

I returned a MacBook Pro 16 over this. Had a difficult time as well. My iMac has virtually no backlight bleed. MacBook Pro 13 has a few spots.

I’ll be checking for this on all new products from now on - live and learn I guess. The marketing would have one believe these panels are perfect - I’ve yet to see an ad where an iMac is displaying a dark image and there’s backlight in the ad to manage expectations.

I doubt it’ll be easy to get this replaced, but you might get lucky with an understanding representative.

My guarantee is over. I think no chance to replace.
