Seems like no one has talked about the iMac Pro's impressive I/O. Perhaps there aren't many pros that would take advantage of it?

It has a built in SD UHS-II card reader. For those that don't know, that allows you to use 300/260 MB/s r/w SD cards. I don't know of another machine that has this and the only way to get it is by using Sandisk's USB-C adapter. This is why I'm a big fan of USB-C, it allows me to expand my I/O.

There's also 10GbE, which many workstations don't have and those that do, offer it as a $300 option.

$5000 does have a bit of a sticker shock, but it's a better deal than most Windows workstations considering the specs and the addition of the awesome 5K monitor.
