I'm wondering if anyone has used their Magic Keyboard in Space Gray extensively, and can report on if this keyboard is particularly subject to fingerprints, or wearing down to be "shiny" where your fingers touch?

    Thanks!

It is oil from your fingers and if you take a slightly moist microfiber cloth it will wipe off. It isn't keyboard wear or at least in my case it isn't.

Go to an Apple store and look at the display MacBooks in space gray. You'll see that they look fine.

Yes. Been using it several hours a day every day since it was released as a stand alone product. You can see oil from your skin. It's not bad though. Certainly not distracting or anything.

The same thing happens to the regular white keyboard, you just don't notice it as much.

Same experience - it’s noticeable but nothing bothersome.
