Yes you have a warranty, it's time to use it. If you have AppleCare or the machine is less than 90 days old call AppleCare and they can help troubleshoot and let you know what to do.This problem came few weeks ago.
I have a new iMac, i'm pretty sure the problem Disappeared, but now it's back, big time!
That grey line on the left of the screen from top to bottom.. Any solution?
You do have a phone option, you may have to pay for it if you have exceeded the free 90 days of AppleCare. If you purchase AppleCare which extends the original warranty to 3 years and provides 3 years of telephone support you can call for free. Look in your owners manual for the phone number. BTW you can buy AppleCare for a discounted amount on Amazon or LA Computer Company, both authorized resellers of Apple products.I don't have any phone option, i've emailed to them.
