Coming from 20 years of Dell computers I'm a longtime iPhone owner and now wanting to put a iMac on my desk. My use will be primarily web browsing and photo editing, perhaps some video editing but not pro-level, and a little bit of coding and web work. I've been reading around and it seems like I should get a 2017? I'm not looking to spend more than $2k and would like it to be closer to $1k if at all possible. I would like a 27" because I have had a 24" screen for years and can't imagine going smaller. I have also deduced that I should get a machine with a SSD. Any advice on specifics as to what I'm looking for? Where should I find it? Ebay??
