I am looking for a LCD monitor that will be on par with the picture quality/brightness of the one that is built into the 24" iMac.

I do not want to spend the money on a Apple display as it will be used for a secondary monitor, but I would like it to be pretty close to the quality of the display that is in the 24" iMac.

So if anyone has one that is close, or knows of one that is close that would be great.

    Thanks

How about this one. It bears a striking resemblance to the iMac and the colors are very vibrant from what I have seen.

I'm not too sure about the brightness and how it compares to the iMac but maybe you can check one of these out in person. I think I have seen them at both Best Buy and Frys and hey maybe you can even pick one up at a liquidating Circuit City. :D

The HP LP2475W uses the same panel that is in the iMac. This monitor gets good reviews and is the cheapest 24" IPS on the market. You can go a little cheaper and get a PVA or a lot cheaper and get a TN. But if you are looking for something that is close without spending the extra $$$ on the Apple this one is good.
