iMac RAM upgrade after purchase

Many people complain about the inability to upgrade the RAM memory of the iMac Pro yourself. I wonder if the RAM upgrade option on the regular iMac is actually being used after the iMac has been purchased.

Of course, the real question at hand is whether you upgraded your imac to more than 32 GB (the imac pro's base). I didn't.

Perhaps you are right. I did upgrade the RAM on my iMac to 32 GB myself. I would upgrade the RAM on a iMac Pro (10-core) to 64 GB.

I would assume that you will find a much higher percentage on a forum like this. In addition a lot of Pro's are probably not spending their time on forums and may never upgrade their RAM.
