Hi Guys,

I have a 2011 iMac 21.5inch and been going solid until recently, where when I went to boot my iMac, for some reason it would take 10 mins on the apple logo, before it turns off automatically.

I also tried recovery mode but it keeps failing to recover.

Is there anything else I can try?

Try booting from a bootable external drive.

If your problem is a failed internal drive (which it very well could be), you'll be up-and-running again in two minutes.

Yep sounds like a dying hard drive, if a bootable backup will work that'll confirm it.
