iMac screen problem

I bought my iMac last year in october, and I got this jagged line verticly on the left side of my screen.

It is similar to this:

Does anyone else have that? What should I do? I have Apple Care Plan, if I take it to the apple store what will I need to bring (besides the iMac. Would I need proof of purchase ect.?).

If you have AppleCare then the Mac's serial number is enough.

Note: It's physically on the Mac and in System Profiler. 😛

Take it in or call up Apple about it.
