I am trying to make a decision on what computer to buy... I am buying this computer mainly for graphic design so the screen is a very important part of this decision.

It is between a Mac Mini:
    2.26 GHz Processor
    4 MB Ram
    120 GB Hard Drive
    NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics
3 External Hard drives: 1 as my main HD, 1 as a backup, and 1 to bring back and forth to school.

    With this monitor:

    or

    24" iMac
    2.66 GHz Processor
    4GB Ram
    640 GB Hard Drive
    NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics
2 External hard drives: one as backup and one to bring back and forth to school

My main question is what are the specs on the 24" iMac screen such as panal type etc. and which screen is better: the iMac screen or the HP screen linked above. Remember I'm going to be using it primarily for graphic design.

    Thanks in advance.

Your newegg link is not working, so can't see what monitor you are referencing.

It is worth noting that the Mac Mini with a RAM upgrade, hard drive upgrade, CPU upgrade, etc, is still slower than the 24" iMac and will cost more if you equip it with a comparable monitor to what you get with the 24" iMac.

The 24" iMac has a Philips/LG S-IPS Panel. Which is actually the same panel technology as the HP.
So it's down to having a neat all in one solution or a Mac Mini and HP Panel. I'd choose the iMac 24".

    Hope this helps. http://bit.ly/ox7KD
