iMac screen turnaround

I'm having to take my imac into an Apple Store on monday because of the tint issue. Only started to appear 20 to 21 days after I bought it. Anyway whats the average turnaround for them to replace it?

I have a 27inch i7 with a 2GB GPU

Two days for me. If you're talking about a panel replacement (rather than exchanging the whole machine), then the main issues are whether or not they have a spare panel in stock, and how busy the repair staff is...

Yeah was talking about Panel replacement. Well thanks guys. Now I have the fun of lugging this thing over there.

The Apple Service Center I work for has an agreement with Apple that we will endeavor to have a turn-around time of < 3 days.

The turn around time could be affected by many things, including jobs in the queue, diagnosis time and part availability.

They are having a BTO replacement shipped back to the store instead. This will be a new machine right? Not a refurbished?
