Imac screen, what is it made of?

What is the screen on the new imacs made of? Is it easily scratchable, if touched etc...? I don't think it's glass..

It just so happens to be glass that protects the LCD display.

I do not believe that it is easily scratched. I do believe that it is a glass like material, my me touching it, but I'm not sure.

It is glass apparently... but I'm assuming its a special type... it doesnt feel like glass if you tap on it, or when you wipe it clean (it seems very static-y... although thats probably more likely the fact that it has electronics behind it than the glass itself).
