iMac to Air Syncing

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate location for this post, so if it itsn't please let me know where a better place might be.

I am using an iMac and an Air, both with OS X and Windows installed. I am currently using dropbox to sync files (mostly programming files, .cpp and the like) but would like to be able to have a 1:1 system set up so that if I change something on the Air, it updates on the iMac.

Any suggestions?

Look into ChronoSync - that should accomplish what you want.

Wait for iCloud. Won't be much longer!

It's a bit better than Dropbox but not completely 1:1 as you want exactly but probably one of the easier options.
