    Hello,

This is probably going to be a simple one. I'm looking to use my HDTV as a secondary screen for my 27" iMac 2011 model.

Is the correct lead a miniDVI to HDMI? Or do I need miniDVI to DVI and then DVI to HDMI?

I need need to know the setup so I can buy the leads online :)

    Thanks

You need a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter.

How to: Connect a MacBook, MacBook Air, or MacBook Pro to a TV

I have my 2008 iMac connected via Mini Dvi -> Dvi Apple adapter and then have a DVi to HDMi cable going to my TV.

I'm upgrading to a 2011 iMac and want to know if I can simply swap the adapter for a mini display -> DVi adapter? Any problems with this?

I imagine the best option is a mini display -> HDMi adapter, but that would involve me buying a new cable to the TV too, not an easy, or cheap, thing to find in Korea, believe it or not!
