iMac to HDTV

Hey all, just wondering if it is possible to connect my 1st generation Intel iMac to an HDTV?

How would I go about this if I can? What port do I use and what kind of cable?

Depends on what connections your HDTV has.

If it has a VGA connector then you can get a mini-DVI to VGA adapter, then a VGA cable.

If it has a DVI connector then you can get a mini-DVI to DVI adapter then a DVI cable

If it has a HDMI connector then you can get a mini-DVI to DVI adapter, a DVI to HDMI adapter and a HDMI cable.
