    Hi guys
I'm perservering with my new and first Imac , overcoming certain issues proving harder than i thought but i'm getting there.

Next task to get done if possible is finding out if my 21" Imac can display some how on my LCD tv screen?

They sit next door to each other but i've no idea if this is even possible. It's a new screen so has many connection options on the back but obviously my Imac is not so well endowed with connection options.

I didn'y buy my Imac with this particular use in mind but it would be easier displaying my many holiday videos on my tv rather than mac if possible?
If not no biggie and i'll move onto Bootcamp next :)

    Wirelessly posted (iPhone 4: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8J2 Safari/6533.18.5)

Mini displayport to HDMI adaptor is all you should need.

You can go with the HDMI or the other ones depending on how you want to handle audio out

I do warn you though, there are strange display problems when you use a mini DP to HDMI adaptor.

I've got a HDMI compatible monitor on my desk and found that when i had it plugged in as an external monitor windows keep being moved back to the main display after sleep. There is also a weird refresh when you come out of the lock screen, all of the desktops go blue temporarily before the actual desktop appeared. These things annoyed me enough for me to replace it with a MiniDP -> DVI adaptor.

I believe the blue screen issue is normal when working with multiple displays on a mac. My air does it when i plug/unplug my 20" monitor, and my mini does the same thing when it wakes from sleeping on my 52" plasma w/hdmi.

It doesn't happen to me when I've got two DVI monitors plugged into it
