    Hey,

My iMac desktop is extended to a Sony EX402 40" TV screen with this:

The problem is when im watching content on the TV it will go black after a couple of min and im getting color inversion. Its also a familiar problem for the Apple TV (scroll down for screenshots):

Anyone knows a solution for this? I tried several HDMI ports on my TV but no luck. I could try to plug a different HDMI cable in or maybe the adapter is faulty

There must be people on the forums who have a iMac 2011 connected to their TV right?

If yes, how did you connect it and with what kind of cables?

Where can I check those settings? Is there a standard setting for it?

    Look into the TV's manual.
What adapter and/or cable are you using?

Ok, I tried something new. I have a Samsung LCD TV here and tried to do the same. Guess what, it works with the Samsung but not with the SONY

How can I fix this so it works on my Sony TV too?
