What part of the instructions where it tells you to make a new partition temporarily didnt you understand?
If you follow the instructions youll see it says: Make a new partition, see if everything works, delete it later. You know you can do that right without affecting your current partition?

instead of installing the whole mac osx software all over again i just reupdated to 10.5.6 and for now thanks g-d it solved the problem thank you everybody
