iMac video problems

I've got an iMac whose screen flashs with just random sprays of mult-colored pixels, however if I remote desktop into the machine everything looks fine. Can somebody diagnose what's broken there for me?

Same Problem took to store

I had a similar problem occur last night. I could operate the computer remotely with a Parallels App on my IPAD. I called support and they had me try some special keystrokes that didn't work. I got an appt. today at the store and they told me the display needs to be replaced. Part ordered under warranty. It'll be a couple of days.
