Imac vs macbook pro w/ egpu

Hello everyone,

I'm very skeptical about new purchase : (France price)

- New Imac 27 2017 (i7 + 512 SSD + Radeon Pro 580 8G) : 3079 € (+16 go from crucial) = 3200 €
+ MacBook Pro 13 touchbar 2016 (i5 + 8 go ram + 512 SSD) discount = 1629 €
= 4829 €

or

- New MacBook Pro 13 touchbar 2017 (i7 + 16go ram + 512 SSD) = 2849 €
+ new developper kit egpu = 899 € ( AMD Radeon RX 580)
+ ultrafine 27 5K = 1399 €
= 4927 €

(I'm a webdesigner / webdevelopper / Swift developper / a little bit of Final Cut pro with sometimes 4k editing)

I need 30 % of my time to travel with my computer .

What do you think about that ?

Well, if you have mobility needs, then the MBP is the better choice.
