    Hi guys (particularly UK),

I hope this is ok to post in here, because unfortunately i'm short of the post count required for the marketplace. I was wondering where would be a good place to advertise a late-2007 alu iMac? I'm trying to avoid eBay at the moment because i'll end up losing a fair amount of money in eBay and then Paypal fees. Also, is £650 an ok asking price? It's a 20" 2.0GHz C2D, 250GB HDD, 3G RAM.

Thanks in advance for any help.

You could try craigslist, as there are usually a few people there who are willing to pay a premium price for electronics.

Craigslist or if there's someone in your family who needs it sell/give it to him/her.

Craigslist definitely. Just don't fall for the 'I want to buy this as a gift for my cousin in Uganda' line.

Yeah, had 2 ruined auctions for my original iPhone thanks to such scams. Talking of scams, the above question about whether Hellhammer is a relative of mine has given me an idea for an elaborate scam, involving posing as a relative to give advice about handing down old computers...

Do they have the Loot down your way?
    Local paper?
    Advert in your car window?
Add the ebay fees to the price you're expecting
Ask someone to advertise on here on your behalf?
