I have seen many posts relating this type of problem to laptops, and problems arising from a laptop 'waking up'...my problem is ever so slightly different! I have previously had my iMac connected to wireless networks and have had no problems. I have recently moved my IMac home and am totally unable to connect it to my home wireless network. There is no drama with the network, as i have 3 devices (iBook, PC Netbook and iPod Touch) all connected to the network, and using the internet. My IMac is running OS 10.5.6 and is as up to date as possible. The Mac can 'see' my home network and when i try to connect it, is when it tells me the Connection Timeout occurs. For a brief period the airport symbols shows there is full strength, but then disappears completely. When using the assistant it tells me i have entered the wrong password, this cannot be the case as i have all my other peripherals working, using the same password! I have entered the MAC address into my routers MAC address filtering list yet still to no avail! If you can please help, keep the answers as Billy Basic as possible as i am not a great understander of technical jargon! Many Thanks.
