I booted up my imac this morning and discovered that I was unable to connect to my home network wirelessly. I have never had a problem connecting before. The router is listed under the available networks, but when I click on it I have to enter the encryption key (despite it being saved) and the attempted connection will time out. All other devices in the house (ipod touch, macbook) will still connect with no problems.

I am using a bt homehub router, and have checked that none of the settings have changed in the network preferences. I've tried searching for some solutions but most problems with wireless seem to be a result of poor signal or slow internet, not being unable to connect at all.

This happens every now and and again on my Mac. I turn off Airport and then turn it back on. If that doesn't work then try the same with the router.
