Is it possible to have two 24 inch screens connected to a 24 inch iMac with 1TB of memory and 8 GB of ram?

I knew the Dual Head would be next. People always bring that up but fail to realize that the two external displays aren't independent.

The two displays work as a single external. There is some software magic to alter the window behavior under Windows but I don't know if they offer that for OS X.

Not use an iMac? Apple has crippled the video out on it for years.
