WHY? 17" iMac=17" MBP spec wise. Just get an external monitor and keyboard.

But you see it's more beauty wise. You don't whan't cables from the monitor, keyboard and mouse (yes I know you can get a bluetooth keyboard and rat)

OH! AT LAST! Someone understands what I'm saying!
The screen would be touch sensitive with the multi-touch tecnology and much thinner (like 1" thin)😀

Yeah I'm concious that the ModBook exists. But the Modbook isn't elegant. (the bottom part is because it's a macbook 😀 ) It's grey plastic and I like to think of it as a ugly-fied macbook.

has anyone even thought about the BATTERY that would be required to make this thing portable? you've got to power a 24 inch screen, and a desktop graphics card, with NO space to put the HUGE battery that it would require.

Not practical. Not Functional. Not possible.

Errhhmm!! I didn't say that it had a 24" Screen now did I?? Nor the processor speed or anything.
